Preface: Topotek's KHP415S90 can solve the problem of traditional sports live streaming. For long-distance and long-term sports events, it is not realistic for an audience to sit in front of a TV or computer for a few hours. Topotek's KHP415S90 can hand over the viewing rights to the audience.
Sports events have a lot of uncertainty, so unlike other programs, live streaming is their main promotion channel. For example, watching a TV drama, live streaming, or recording is not a big problem, and the Spring Festival Gala is also a way to catch up with a certain program and watch recorded broadcasts. But sports events are different because they contain too much uncertainty, so live streaming can satisfy the audience's appetite and also create a lot of suspense. For example, in the World Cup, everyone stays up late to watch the live broadcast, but if they know the results the next day and then watch the recorded broadcast, they lose the meaning of sports events. It's a pity to discard food without taste!
And live streaming of sports events also has different difficulties, such as football and other field competitions, where the difficulty of live streaming is relatively small. This includes track racing, short track rally, etc., which can be summarized. However, there is another type of competition, which has higher uncertainty factors and stronger stimulation, but is very unfriendly to live streaming. These are car rally, car off-road race, road cycling race, etc High competitive events such as triathlon or skiing.
Through comparison, it can also be seen that the subsequent matches are all held in non enclosed areas, with a large span and long duration. Ordinary live streaming is very difficult, and even if it can be successfully broadcasted, the cost is astronomical. It is not realistic to have an audience spend a few hours in front of a TV or computer. Therefore, traditional live streaming mode can basically be concluded that it is not suitable for such non enclosed areas and a new form of live streaming is needed.
The KHP415S90 gimbal camera created by Topotek can meet such live streaming needs. That is to say, hand over the channel switching rights to the customer themselves.
Let's take the car rally as a case study to see how to achieve a new live broadcast. Rally is a Chinese translation of Rally in English, also known as "multi day race", and is one of the car road race events. It is a car road race event where participating vehicles reach the sub station targets within the specified average speed, driving route, and time, and complete vehicle inspection and maintenance.
This type of racing competition definitely cannot be traditional live streaming, but requires online live streaming. Each team and driver is like a channel, and the audience can selectively watch the situation of any team and driver. In a three-day race, the audience cannot lie directly next to the TV or computer. This live streaming method is to use everyone's fragmented time to better watch the content they want to watch, For example, if you only want to watch a driver's in car video, you can click to enter the live streaming channel of this team to watch their in car video in a timely manner.
So how is such a live broadcast achieved? The gimbal cameras, also known as visible light cameras, of Topotek are mainly industrial grade products, which are placed on drones, so they all have independent and complete network systems. Currently, the gimbal cameras of Topotek have a fixed factory IP address. In the LAN state, as long as the ground station (PC or Android) is connected to this IP address through RTSP, a screen can appear.
So how to perform the switch mentioned above! In fact, this requires the support of the network. Currently, large-scale events like this have a large number of communication vehicles to facilitate communication and ensure the smooth flow of the network. We have already learned from the above that switching between gimbals can actually be done by switching the IP addresses of the gimbals. This is true for LANs and the internet, but it is only necessary to map the IP addresses.
Firstly, we need to equip each gimbal with a TP-LINK with a power supply, and then connect this TP-LINK through a PC computer. By entering the DOS interface in CMD and entering ipconfig, we can obtain the gateway of TP-LINK. The browser can enter the gateway to enter the TP-LINK backend. After entering the backend, we find the port forwarding and start mapping. We need to map twice, once the port is 544 (TCP), Another mapping is 9003 (UDP), and the mapped intranet IP address is the default intranet IP address of the Topotek gimbal camera
After we have mapped all the gimbals, we can open the ground station software of Topotek Co Creation PC or Android, or other video software through a computer or mobile phone, and input the RTSP code stream. The code stream IP is the external IP of TP-LINK, so that we can successfully connect to the gimbal. If you want to change channels, change the external IP of TP-LINK to switch to the corresponding gimbal page.
After setting up the live streaming environment, we can achieve two types of live streaming. One is similar to CCTV live streaming, where the staff switches and then performs live streaming in the form of screen recording. This method is no different from traditional live streaming, but it only takes longer to broadcast. Another way of live streaming is to establish a live streaming page, where each gimbal is made into a channel, allowing viewers to freely enter the channel to watch the content they want to watch.
